I did receive some covers from people around the world and I will be posting them very soon. To those people I say thank you and assure them of an answer in the very near future. Although classes will begin very soon again, I intend to dedicate some quality time to this blog and rekindle friendships made through this blog. Do not hesitate to communicate with me for my new address and establish interesting contacts in the future.<br /><br />So, may 2010 bring you everything you wish for and mostly health and joy.Stamps-4-your-pleasurehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15496266292710741477noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9145950652973458394.post-29885565665011915832009-07-17T09:17:00.003-04:002009-07-17T09:23:07.756-04:00From Slovenia<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDt6Nr2wToRkx1pPMEX9pzY6z46bcxrTI6bZG2iq8J_vicRPcV8dLPDHK1Ft6qhyIQDr7E_mnkewCEMbjWFtBeRcBRo5em0z7O4ybUU5M4AXBOZkhzGzrR0Ta6Bnrz0iAxHsg6_YvBWt8/s1600-h/scan0057.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5359418445717683394" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 286px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDt6Nr2wToRkx1pPMEX9pzY6z46bcxrTI6bZG2iq8J_vicRPcV8dLPDHK1Ft6qhyIQDr7E_mnkewCEMbjWFtBeRcBRo5em0z7O4ybUU5M4AXBOZkhzGzrR0Ta6Bnrz0iAxHsg6_YvBWt8/s400/scan0057.jpg" border="0" /></a> Here is one from a young collector in Slovenia.<br />Great variety of stamps with nice and clean cancellations.<br />Thank you Davor.<br /><br /><br /><br /><div></div>Stamps-4-your-pleasurehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15496266292710741477noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9145950652973458394.post-7413153267454859992009-07-05T14:42:00.001-04:002009-07-05T14:42:28.166-04:00Special invitationIf interested in finding out about hot trends and opinions on selling on the internet and eBay, I invite you to follow my new blog at <a href="http://stampdealing.blogspot.com/">http://stampdealing.blogspot.com/</a>An honest blog about purchasing stamps on the internet.Hope to see you there!!Stamps-4-your-pleasurehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15496266292710741477noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9145950652973458394.post-52158855744483859222009-05-31T12:52:00.003-04:002009-05-31T13:03:51.002-04:00Another beautiful cover ruined by a postal worker<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9fnnaxkt2oUIfrI_jie1JFsFfCEXeq-ucbBDFh83lPk_ynW2ldJUYdDzdNJdUskLIaEuJBiPprNc7Xv77wmjOpMuhzvuha0A0Af4b3pIZbVKZLFLVl7cEBe2SJtO-NKJH5KXW-p72Cdc/s1600-h/Cover+from+Algeria.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5342032518622043730" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 228px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9fnnaxkt2oUIfrI_jie1JFsFfCEXeq-ucbBDFh83lPk_ynW2ldJUYdDzdNJdUskLIaEuJBiPprNc7Xv77wmjOpMuhzvuha0A0Af4b3pIZbVKZLFLVl7cEBe2SJtO-NKJH5KXW-p72Cdc/s400/Cover+from+Algeria.jpg" border="0" /></a> I received this wonderful FDC cover from Ouari in Algeria, back in January of this year.<br />I just wanted to show you how frustrating it can sometimes be when untrained postal workers handle the mail.<br />Ouari, not only, took the time to make up this cover but he also took the extra precaution to send it by registered mail.<br />Final result, some idiot put the registration label right on the artwork of the cover. I carefully tried to remove it but believe me these labels are designed to permanentely stay on.<br />My thanks go out to Ouari with the recommendation to all interested in exchanging with me NOT TO send any covers REGISTERED.Stamps-4-your-pleasurehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15496266292710741477noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9145950652973458394.post-1061830757285168572009-05-21T16:38:00.004-04:002009-05-21T16:44:04.927-04:00From Taiwan featuring IBRA<div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrPh4LuyrJKT0oWweP_1FUXEZx1cv_wS2F-YWmUKV_RbQWr354LXF3pl1reHuGsIVL3IpM31ArmluG-VKX9sddjlYP_ZM6l63h0BNUII7mv0X6wdaMxUr28VqCYllgFzkz8gzQQ-o-EN0/s1600-h/From+George+Wu+-+Taiwan,+May+21,+2009.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5338380336441122418" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 234px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrPh4LuyrJKT0oWweP_1FUXEZx1cv_wS2F-YWmUKV_RbQWr354LXF3pl1reHuGsIVL3IpM31ArmluG-VKX9sddjlYP_ZM6l63h0BNUII7mv0X6wdaMxUr28VqCYllgFzkz8gzQQ-o-EN0/s400/From+George+Wu+-+Taiwan,+May+21,+2009.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div>Just received today from George in Taiwan.</div><br /><div>George is the other person whom I mentioned is responsible for this new venture in covers from around the globe.<br /></div><div>Beautiful cover, in perfect condition arriving only 9 days after being mailed.<br /></div><div>Thank you George!</div><br /><div></div><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5338380539653439074" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 233px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwG9S83erZWBhBphQbcpU5Lbwc_qlEsvPf17XlhmuA_ju56A3Bf8p5H-fqCzQuXf5AzE5J57PSikAFdIdJlrAHuNsNPITayGAes-0l8L9HRYYylnO7nsnRq6MS54rY_1pvPw0czjppFXI/s400/From+George+Wu-+Back.jpg" border="0" /><br /><div></div></div>Stamps-4-your-pleasurehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15496266292710741477noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9145950652973458394.post-41424080426689055432009-05-20T20:08:00.003-04:002009-05-20T20:16:39.621-04:00A cover from Guam, but made in Belgium<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi1kQRB6oICjtmc24DWvtQc7-u6O2J3Jv1R9ZWPIdGbQe9MwpfsqTrTqS_UXXmETcVVPypptLqRk6rEAI8wKHkGO0budmmtKgWhEAdlK2Un2fEz-3jF0gctJYgUXuVHh1V7El7DAi3zHCQ/s1600-h/scan0002.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5338064166615011410" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 279px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi1kQRB6oICjtmc24DWvtQc7-u6O2J3Jv1R9ZWPIdGbQe9MwpfsqTrTqS_UXXmETcVVPypptLqRk6rEAI8wKHkGO0budmmtKgWhEAdlK2Un2fEz-3jF0gctJYgUXuVHh1V7El7DAi3zHCQ/s400/scan0002.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div>Yesterday May 19, I received this perfect cover from my good friend Holger.</div><br /><div>As you can see these are his first "personalized" stamps.
